We want to offer our guests a quiet place to come home and enjoy. In a cozy and family atmosphere, combined with good food, relaxation, many tips to discover the region and of course immaculate rooms. Simply the place to be for your next sunny holiday!
We, Pieter and Veerle, both from Zottegem in East Flanders – Belgium, run our B&B Casa El Corasueño in Andalusia, near Málaga, with great dedication, positive energy and pride. After several holidays in Austria, Italy and the Balearic Islands, we finally lost our hearts in the south of Spain.
And yes, after a ‘serious maturation process‘ we decided to emigrate to Andalusia. After 17 years in the automotive industry (Pieter) and 12 years in accounting (Veerle), we chose our own path, to realize our dream and make others happy in the south of Spain.
Our house hunt brought us to the authentic white village of Almogía, a stone’s throw from Málaga. And we both felt the click there, this is what we were looking for. This typical white village surrounded by hills covered with olive and almond trees still charms us every day.
Our goal? We aim to give you a lasting memory of your holiday here with us. We will show you around our region, spoil you culinary with an extensive breakfast or a delicious dinner. And all this under a radiant sun.

We want you to get to know the real Andalusia. Away from mass tourism and with a very personalized approach. We want our guests to enjoy and relax. We do everything we can so that you return home with a barrel full of energy and beautiful memories that always put a smile to your face.
VEERLE
I like to work independently and I like variety. If that is possible under a radiant Spanish sun and surrounded by happy people in holiday mode, then I am completely happy.
The best are the many conversations and laughing together. Both at breakfast, dinner, and casually throughout the day. With all guests in the Bed & Breakfast. Also with the many returning guests in Casa El Corasueño who have actually become good friends over the years.
I receive all guests with enthusiasm and enjoy doing the administration. I also make sure that your room is immaculate and assist Pieter in preparing the meals. Everything to give you a great holiday!
PIETER
My motivation? The variety. No day is the same. And the daily challenge to always get the best out of ourselves and the B&B. The beautiful stories, excellent comments in our guestbook or strong reviews make me endlessly happy.
And yes, of course I also like to sit with the guests, with a nice glass of wine. Then I give some extra excursion tips, we exchange great stories or I like to be challenged for a game of darts.
In addition to receiving guests and showing you the way in the region, I also take care of the complete maintenance of our Bed & Breakfast, I take care of the meals and … I enjoy doing the shopping.
